Arika Pickle, MA, LPC specializes in perinatal mental health and other common issues women face outside of pregnancy and postpartum, including anxiety, depression, self-esteem, stress management, grief, and navigating relationships. As a counselor, she enjoys supporting clients and collaborating with them on their goals so they can live a fulfilling, joyful life.
Arika provides counseling utilizing evidence-based approaches while working from a Christian, holistic view to address mental, physical, emotional, and spiritual needs.
A “Texan by marriage”, she found herself moving to the Lone Star State six years ago with her husband, a Texan native. A graduate of Liberty University, Arika has a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology as well as a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling. Arika possesses over eleven years of varied experience in the mental health field including advocating for survivors of sexual assault, supervising and training case managers in a community mental health agency, and counseling in the fields of adoption, pregnancy, and post-partum.
Balancing professional and personal priorities, Arika treasures spending time with her husband and two young sons, traveling and exploring new places, relaxing at the beach, and listening to live music.
